The opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Senior Creative who brings more than just exceptional technical ability. We want someone who lives and breathes creativity, thinks commercially, and collaborates with ease. Someone who can balance brand integrity with fresh ideas and deliver eye-catching, meaningful work that tells a story, drives action, and gets people talking.
This isn’t a role for someone who likes to stay in their lane. You’ll work alongside our Brand Manager and collaborate with teams across product, digital, content, and development, getting stuck into everything from campaign concepts, digital assets and brochure design to animations, and supporting photography and video shoots. It’s a truly integrated role, so expect variety and a fast-moving, ever-evolving task list.
You’ll know how to shape narratives and communicate messaging with clarity and purpose, applying solid principles of layout, hierarchy, and design theory. We don’t do design for design’s sake – it’s about knowing what will resonate and why. What will stop someone scrolling, drive traffic, or help someone choose us over the competition.
Versatility is key, as you’ll be designing for multiple brands with different audiences and objectives. But, just as equally important is someone with a great attitude, strong experience, and a team-first mindset. Someone who thrives on problem-solving and continuous improvement and brings infectious creative energy to every project and the team.
You’ll be doing things like:
- Bringing ideas to life across digital and print, from web, email and social assets to brochures and POS.
- Creating engaging video content and simple animations using tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Supporting photography and video shoots, helping plan, style, and deliver content that’s authentic and high-quality.
- Playing with AI tools like MidJourney and ChatGPT to explore new creative territories.
- Managing your own projects and timelines, staying calm under pressure, and delivering work you’re proud of.
- Helping maintain our digital asset management system so everything is stored, shared and easily accessible.
- Working closely with the Brand Manager and cross-functional teams to make sure our creative output is effective, visually engaging, on-brand and always pushing boundaries.
- Offering and receiving constructive feedback as part of a collaborative, open creative process.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a varied and polished portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Proven experience creating high-performing visual assets that have directly contributed to improved conversion rates, click-throughs and revenue with the ability to showcase measured results.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness evidenced in your portfolio with examples of how design decisions have impacted performance and customer behaviour.
- Experience designing for ecommerce platforms, with a strong grasp of UX/UI best practices.
- A solid understanding of layout, hierarchy, and messaging.
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively across departments, with a track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- An ability to follow direction and brand guidelines without being afraid to push boundaries when the moment’s right.
- Comfortable assisting on set for photo and video shoots, with an eye for detail and composition.
- Great organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple briefs and keep things moving.
- A personable, collaborative attitude. You enjoy working with others, learning from feedback, and lifting the team as you go.
Desirable:
- Ability to curate realistic 3D renders using tools such as Adobe Dimensions, SketchUp or similar.
- Experience using AI tools like MidJourney and ChatGPT to support ideation or speed up workflows.
- Proficient in using Figma for collaborative design, prototyping, and UI development.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, particularly Klaviyo.
- Experience creating responsive designs that adapt seamlessly across devices and screen sizes.
- Working knowledge of ecommerce CMS platforms such as Magento.
- Ability to identify and suggest content adjustments that enhance the clarity, visual impact, and overall effectiveness of a design.
What you’ll get:
- £30,000-£35,000, depending on experience
